The Situation
NHCC was founded in July 1, 2006, as a local Cambodian NGO by John and Kathy Tucker. John and Kathy were the founders of Little Sprouts in 2002 with Maryknoll. Little Sprouts was the first program in Cambodia to provide treatment and care to children with HIV. NHCC is registered with the Ministry of the Interior of the Royal Government of Cambodia is to work with NGOs and the Royal Government of Cambodia to assist children living with HIV/AIDS and their families.
The Objectives
- Provide loving, nurturing care in family style homes.
- Quality education that prepares children for a successful life and provides them the tools to impact the future of Cambodia.
- Provide HIV medication and regular medical check ups so children have the opportunity to live a full, normal life.
