The Situation
J791N Kidsreach Development Project seeks to combat many issues that have arisen in Sri Lanka; specifically those that effect the community’s children.
The Objectives
- Establish a training centre that will teach computer and sewing courses and will employ locals as the instructors.
- Organise special programs including camps, to give children a memorable experience whilst teaching them valuable life skills in the areas of safety, protection and hygiene.
- Provide a mentoring program for the youth that will address child abuse through providing specialised camps, counselling and training for works on safety, protection and trauma counselling.
