The Situation

Orr Shalom’s Beit Goldschmidt Home for Adolescent Girls is a closed intensive care facility which incorporates a home for 12 young girls. Beit Goldschmidt recreates a loving secure home with clear boundaries, order and structure for girls who have experienced chaos and destruction in their lives. The girls referred to Beit Goldschmidt are Israel’s most vulnerable experiencing significant trauma. The project will provide necessary funds to implement the programs necessary to assist these girls to reach their potential and begin to overcome their challenges.  

The Objectives

• The major objective is to provide a safe and secure home for troubled adolescent girls and provide them with all the material and therapeutic resources they need to begin to heal from their traumas.
