Protecting Children from Trafficking and Exploitation

Every day in Kenya, children are being tricked, forced or coerced into situations that no child should ever have to face. They are trafficked for sexual exploitation, forced marriage, domestic servitude, forced labour, criminal activity and more. These are not isolated incidents - they are part of a broader, systemic crisis.

Driven by poverty, constrained government resources, the impact of conflict in neighbouring countries and a young, vulnerable population, Kenya is a hotspot for child trafficking and exploitation. Often, children are falling through the cracks, unseen and unprotected. But it doesn’t have to be this way.

At the MX4 Foundation, we are committed to protecting children.

We do this by:

  •         Supporting law enforcement and other agencies to rescue children and arrest offenders
  •         Supporting efforts to ensure children receive the expert, post-rescue care.

Our approach is holistic, sustainable, and aligned with internationally recognised frameworks. We focus on four key pillars:

  •         Prevention – Educating communities, addressing root causes, and building resilience against trafficking.
  •         Protection – Identifying at-risk children and intervening before harm occurs.
  •         Prosecution – Working closely with law enforcement to investigate and bring traffickers to justice.
  •         Partnership – Collaborating with local and international partners to strengthen impact and scale solutions.

You can help us make a difference.

Every donation helps us reach more children, support more rescues, and provide real healing and hope.

Together, we can create a future where every child is safe, free, and protected.
