Students participate in ‘Hamro Abhiyan’ education program in Nepal.

In Vijayawada, India, J770 The Tikvah Project works
to empower women through literacy and skills
development. By running literacy classes and tailoring
training, women are able to seek work or start their
own small business. The project aims to train 100
women every eight months, allowing them to gain
independence and provide income for their families.
This year COVID-19 lockdowns disrupted the regular
training sessions, but they still managed to empower
52 women through the program.
