Nobel Peace Prize 2020

In October 2020 the World Food Programme
was honoured to be named the Nobel Peace
Prize Laureate.

WFP is the world’s largest humanitarian
organisation, saving lives in emergencies
and using food assistance to build a
pathway to peace, stability and prosperity
for people recovering from conflict, disasters
and the impact of climate change. Global
Development Group is proud to have
partnered with WFP for these impacts
since 2012.
In Yemen, large parts of Saada city have been destroyed
Congratulations WFP, for the countless lives by bombing and armed conflict. Sadly, the destruction of
saved over years of work in the midst of crises. infrastructure has made childhood malnutrition worse.
