I know you will enjoy the heart-warming stories and incredible
achievements of people helping people found throughout. You’ll

A Snapshot of 2019 Page 08 This year we have presented the report in regions so as you

Impact and Monitoring step through the pages, you will be taking a round the world
journey with GDG, visiting a few of the 37 countries our projects
Regional Project Updates Page 10 are reaching.

Africa 11 I was reading back on some notes I took a while ago and these
words jumped off the page –
 Indian Subcontinent 16
Asia 18 “Strength is for service not for status”.
Pacific 22 I think this speaks directly to our partners, both in Australia
Middle East 24 and around the globe, who are committed to using their
Americas 25 strengths and resources to help others. This demands of
them a certain fortitude and humility, and I want to applaud
Our Organisation Page 26 them all for the resolve and courage they display every day in David Pearson visits J342N Crossroads Development Assistance Project in
          carrying out their work.
GDG Australia - Board, Staff and International Representatives 26 Hong Kong. NGOs around the world apply for access to Crossroads’ tailored
                                                              development aid shipments.
Again, this year we have seen the impact of our projects
GDG New Zealand & GDG USA 28 achieving outcomes beyond the value of the dollars we
spend. Partners are consistently reporting of beneficiaries
Professionalism Page 29 receiving training and skills to generate their own income,
ACFID Accountability & Compliance; Financial Summary; volunteers upskilling local staff, and project funds spent in
local communities which in turn supports the local economy.
 Feedback & Complaints
We are constantly encouraged as we see how our projects are
impacting people who are going on to inspire change in their
 Financials Page 30 communities.
Disbursement of Aid and Development Project Funds 30 Finally, you will see in the report that donations were strong
Income Statement 31 again this year, so I would like to thank our donors, our

          to the needs of others.
