Joshua Care International is a community development project that works with disadvantaged communities living in the Bagumbuyan region of Taguig. The project particularly focuses on assisting displaced people and people living in and around the Bagumbuyan Cemetery. These communities have been outcast and many have made their homes amongst the tombs. This area is home to thousands of people and majority of them are children.
The project aims to improve the lives of the underprivileged children and their families through education and health care programs. Educational scholarships are provided to disadvantaged children. The project’s Medical Compassion Program provides basic medical clinic and medication access to the beneficiary communities. They also operate nutritional, hygiene and first aid education and community awareness programs.
